Vegetable wraps are the first thing that comes to mind when we think of a healthy meal.

The taste of wrapping various fresh and tender쌈 vegetables with rice and meat and taking a big bite is just amazing!

My friends in Sydney, whom I used to invite to my home for meals, seemed a bit hesitant about the wrap menu until they got used to it.

For those who were used to eating with a fork and knife, cutting everything into bite-sized pieces, asking them to eat a fist-sized wrap in one bite might have been a bit much? Haha!

As with anything, the beginning is always the hardest.

Later, they told me that whenever they saw lettuce at the supermarket, they would buy it immediately and eat it at home with쌈장.

After returning to Korea and finally moving to my countryside home, I was excitedly thinking about what vegetables I could grow in my garden, and the first thing that came to mind was lettuce.

Of course, even if I couldn't grow anything else, I had to grow lettuce.

My little lettuce plants in the garden, planted after learning about farming from books.

Even a beginner's planting can grow! @.@

The Joy of Harvest :D

Watering them every morning, pulling out weeds, occasionally giving them fertilizer, and thinning them out...

Some people say it's cheaper to buy them, but is this something we can just decide based on capitalistic logic?!

Carl Sagan said this in "Cosmos".

Plants convert light energy from the sun into chemical energy. When you think about it, all animals are parasites that live off of plants. What is farming? It is nothing more than a method of systematically harvesting sunlight.

In other words, by growing lettuce, I am harvesting sunlight to eat. Haha!

A more abundant drinking party thanks to sunlight :P
